This project was a complete sewer line
replacement from the home to the property line. Three large trenches
needed to be dug to complete the job.
The first trench located the pipe from the home's front wall.
The second trench found the other end of the pipe under the driveway. A third trench had to be dug to connect the two ends,
All this work had to be done in a very tight situation with a large tree, driveway and sidewalk to manouver around. |
With all three trenches dug to a nine foot depth, the new pipe was ready to install.
The crew measured for down grade and length of pipe needed for the job.
The backhoe waits while the crew prepares, measures and cuts the new sewer line.
With top quality pipe connected to both ends of the sewer line. it was time to begin refilling the holes.

The homeowner was pleased with the work done to replace this sewer line. If you would like to contact him with any questions, email Mike at

"Squeegie" (almost like sand) is used to stabilize the new pipe and prevent any movement in the future.
With the Squeegie all packed in, the refilling begins.
The crew works together in harmony with the backhoe to refill the three trenches, packing the dirt tight as they go.
